Description

Dominoes is a strategic family board game based on laying out and matching numbered tiles. Simple to learn, it is enjoyed worldwide for its balance of luck and skill. The game originated in China, where it was played from the 12th century onwards in a form different from Western dominoes. It then arrived in Europe in the 18th century, likely via Italian merchants. The modern version we know today has spread across the globe, particularly in Latin America, France, and the United States. The aim of the game is to take turns placing a domino by matching one side to a domino already laid down that has the same number of dots. The game ends when one of the players plays their last domino or when no player can make a move.
