Baskets and local cuisine at the Moulin de Babel
For returns from walks, evenings at the gîte or picnics in the Mont-Saint-Michel bay, we offer simple, local and seasonal cuisine, prepared with committed Breton producers such as Les Locos de Saint-Ouen, L’Agitée du Bocal, Le Casse Graine or Le Bois Jumel.
Breakfast basket – €18 for 2 people

To prepare directly at the Gîte: traditional baguette, pastries, honey, artisanal jams, organic apple juice and hot drinks.
Gluten-free Breton option with buckwheat crepes and Breton cider.
Artisan jars – £10 / person
Individual 430g jars prepared by L’Agitée du Bocal, allowing everyone to choose their dish according to the seasons: Lorient cabbage stew, leeks with cider, veal marengo, Breton cassoulet, vegetable caponata or vegetarian and vegan recipes.
Simple and comforting meals, easy to reheat after a day cycling, hiking or exploring the region.
Picnic basket – €19 / person
(2 people minimum)
A complete picnic basket, designed for cycling days and strolls around the Mont-Saint-Michel bay: 430g artisan cold dish prepared by L'Agitée du Bocal, artisan spread from Bois Jumel, traditional baguette, buckwheat crisps and organic apple juice from Les Locos de Saint-Ouen, artisan Breton compotes and biscuits.
Reusable tableware, water bottle, and a bicycle pannier bag that transforms into a rucksack are provided.
Organic Breton crêpes and galettes from the Locos
During your stay at Moulin de Babel, we are offering organic Breton crêpes and galettes prepared by Les Locos from Saint-Ouen-de-la-Rouërie, a few kilometres from the gîte.
Prepared using organic and local ingredients, they are ideal for a gourmet breakfast, a Breton brunch, a picnic, or a simple meal after a day exploring Mont-Saint-Michel bay or the region's cycling routes.
Orders can be placed from Thursday to Sunday inclusive and must be placed before noon for the same evening or the next day, to guarantee their freshness.
Minimum order: 6 items, with the possibility to mix and match crepes and galettes freely.
1.20 € each, so 7.20 € minimum order.
