We prioritised reuse and recovery to fit out our spaces. <\/span>Second-hand furniture, recycled or repurposed materials\u2026<\/span> Every object here has a story, and we are proud to give them a second life.<\/span><\/p>

Limiting our footprint on water and energy<\/span><\/h3>

We know that lasting comfort comes from the sensible management of resources:<\/span><\/p>

  • Drying laundry on indoor or outdoor clothes racks<\/span>, drastically reducing the use of the tumble dryer and eliminating ironing.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Using low-energy appliances<\/span>.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Water-saving systems<\/span>, with low-flow taps.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Biodegradable and bulk cleaning products<\/span>, for healthy and respectful cleanliness.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Because sleeping well and feeling well are essential, we have made the choice of uncompromising comfort:<\/span><\/p>

    • Queen-size bed with a memory foam mattress topper<\/span> for restful nights.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • 100% cotton bed linen<\/span>, washed with eco-friendly detergents and dried naturally on indoor or outdoor drying racks.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Gentle and controlled heat<\/span> ... inserts and wood-burning stoves fuelled by our own wooded hills.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Ceiling fans<\/span>, to cool in the summer and optimise heating in the winter.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      Discovering the local area in a different way, without noise and pollution, is possible and comfortable:<\/span><\/p>

                We know that zero impact doesn't exist and that nothing is perfect. But we are moving forward, and here are our next objectives:<\/span><\/p>

                • Replace our traditional septic tank with a constructed wetland system<\/span>, for even more environmentally friendly water treatment.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

                • Gradually improve the insulation<\/span> of our buildings, in order to reduce our heating and air conditioning needs.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

                  With you, we are moving towards more respectful tourism. Each stay with us is an opportunity to do better, to experience more sustainable alternatives and to share values that are close to our hearts.
