;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Bicycle and accessory rental ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Breakfast baskets ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Gourmet hampers ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Luggage transport ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Additional services offered to clients.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>All bookings imply full and complete acceptance of these terms and conditions.<\/p><hr \/><h1>Article 3 \u2013 Bookings made via partner platforms<\/h1><p>Some bookings can be made through third-party platforms or software, including:<\/p><ul><li><p><strong>Beds24<\/strong> for accommodation; ;<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Loki<\/strong> for bicycle rental.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>The terms and conditions of use, booking, and payment specific to these platforms remain applicable for aspects relating to their services.<\/p><p>These General Conditions of Sale and Rental govern the services provided by BABYLONE SARL under the brand <strong>The Mill of Babel<\/strong>, in particular the terms and conditions for accommodation, bicycles and additional services offered to customers.<\/p><p>The information displayed during booking on partner platforms, notably prices, availability, and cancellation conditions, takes precedence when it is more precise or more up-to-date than these terms and conditions.<\/p><hr \/><h1>Article 4 \u2013 Booking<\/h1><p>Bookings can be made:<\/p><ul><li><p>Via the website. ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Via partner platforms; ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>By phone ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>By email.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>The booking becomes definitive after payment or required deposit has been validated.<\/p><hr \/><h1>Article 5 \u2013 Prices<\/h1><p>Prices are quoted in euros, inclusive of all taxes (VAT).<\/p><p>The applicable rates are those displayed at the time of booking.<\/p><p>Le Moulin de Babel reserves the right to change its prices at any time without affecting confirmed bookings.<\/p><hr \/><h1>Article 6 \u2013 Payment<\/h1><p>Payment for services can be made using the payment methods offered at the time of booking.<\/p><p>All bookings must be paid for in accordance with the terms indicated at the time of order.<\/p><hr \/><h1>ACCOMMODATION<\/h1><h2>Article 7 \u2013 Arrival and Departure<\/h2><p>Accommodation is available:<\/p><ul><li><p>From <strong>16:30<\/strong> the day of arrival ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Until <strong>11:00 AM<\/strong> The day of departure.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>Any late arrival must be reported as soon as possible.<\/p><hr \/><h2>Article 8 \u2013 Accommodation Cancellation Conditions<\/h2><p>In case of cancellation by the client:<\/p><ul><li><p>More <strong>30 days<\/strong> Before arrival: full refund; ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Enter <strong>15 and 30 days<\/strong> Before arrival: 50% of the total cost of the stay remains payable; ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Less <strong>15 days<\/strong> Before arrival: the total amount for the stay remains due.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>In case of early departure or no-show, no refund will be granted.<\/p><hr \/><h2>Article 9 \u2013 Occupying the Premises<\/h2><p>The tenant undertakes to:<\/p><ul><li><p>Use places peacefully; ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Respect their destination; ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Respect the maximum number of occupants stated when booking; ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Maintain the peace and quiet of the premises. ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Respect the natural spaces present on the property.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>Any wilful damage or clearly inappropriate use of the facilities may result in charges for repair costs.<\/p><hr \/><h2>Article 10 \u2013 Animals<\/h2><p>Animals are accepted under the sole responsibility of their owner.<\/p><p>The owner of the animal remains responsible for any damage caused to people, property or equipment.<\/p><hr \/><h1>BIKE HIRE<\/h1><h2>Article 11 \u2013 Handover of equipment<\/h2><p>The equipment is returned in good working order.<\/p><p>The tenant acknowledges having checked the apparent condition of the equipment upon its collection.<\/p><p>A valid form of identification may be requested.<\/p><hr \/><h2>Article 12 \u2013 Caution<\/h2><p>A deposit is required for each bicycle or accessory hired.<\/p><p>Its amount varies according to the value of the equipment concerned.<\/p><p>The security deposit will not be cashed except in the event of damage, loss, theft not covered, or non-compliance with these terms and conditions.<\/p><hr \/><h2>Article 13 \u2013 Use of equipment<\/h2><p>The tenant undertakes to:<\/p><ul><li><p>Use the equipment in accordance with its normal purpose. ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Respect the Highway Code ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Ensure hardware security; ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Report any incident or damage immediately.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>The tenant remains responsible for the equipment for the entire duration of the rental.<\/p><hr \/><h2>Article 14 \u2013 Accidental damage and theft insurance<\/h2><p>Bicycles include damage and theft insurance within the rental fee.<\/p><p>This cover applies only:<\/p><ul><li><p>To the bicycles; ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>To the equipment fitted to the bicycle; ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>When the equipment is securely fastened to a fixed point using an approved anti-theft device supplied or accepted by Le Moulin de Babel.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>Are not covered:<\/p><ul><li><p>Accessories not attached to the bike ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>The tenant's personal effects.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>The theft insurance does not apply if the bicycle has not been secured in accordance with the instructions provided during the rental.<\/p><p>Any claim for theft must be accompanied by a report filed with the competent authorities.<\/p><hr \/><h2>Article 15 \u2013 Use of electric bicycles<\/h2><p>The tenant undertakes to use only chargers supplied or approved by Le Moulin de Babel.<\/p><p>Any damage caused by the use of an unsuitable charger may be charged to the tenant.<\/p><hr \/><h2>Article 16 \u2013 Tenant's Responsibility<\/h2><p>The tenant remains solely responsible:<\/p><ul><li><p>In compliance with the Highway Code; ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Regarding the choice of routes taken; ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Her physical fitness to complete the proposed route; ;<\/p><\/li><li><p>Damage caused to third parties during the rental period.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>The advice, maps, and itinerary recommendations provided by Le Moulin de Babel are for guidance only.<\/p><hr \/><h2>Article 17 \u2013 Borrowed or Rented Accessories<\/h2><p>The accessories provided (helmets, trailers, child seats, smartphone holders, panniers, baskets, locks, and other equipment) must be returned in the same condition as they were supplied.<\/p><p>Any loss, theft, or damage may result in a charge corresponding to the cost of replacement or repair.<\/p><hr \/><h2>Article 18 \u2013 Return of Equipment<\/h2><p>The equipment must be returned at the agreed date and time.<\/p><p>Any significant unnotified delay may result in additional charges corresponding to the extra duration of use.<\/p><hr \/><h1>Additional services<\/h1><h2>Article 19 \u2013 Breakfast baskets and gourmet hampers<\/h2><p>Any order cancelled before noon the day before the service will be fully refunded.<\/p><p>After this period, any sums paid will be retained to cover purchases and preparations already made.<\/p><hr \/><h1>Responsibilities<\/h1><h2>Article 20 \u2013 Liability<\/h2><p>Le Moulin de Babel cannot be held responsible:<\/p><ul><li><p>Accidents resulting from the misuse of hired equipment;
